December 5, 2006 Litter

December 31, 2006

Just about 4 weeks old. It's funny. Each litter that we have seems like the first one. Everything is always new. Anyhow, these guys are starting to teethe this week. They also are *great* eaters! They really such down those supplemental bottles of Kitten Milk Replacement (KMR) and rice cereal that we give them 3 times a day. And they are just starting to do the litter box thing. As they are now starting to see that there is life outside of the birthing pen, we expect that in the next week os so that they'll be roaming around the room. This normally means an exploration into what Mom is eating, and the transition to real cat food will be complete.

Anyhow, let's enjoy them at this age. And do you see those ears? Starting to lose the bear cub ears and they're starting to come up the full upright and locked (hopefully) position. :) All of us here at HowLyn Cattery wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
