At the 5 week mark now. Yup. The kittens have figured out that there is more to the world than just the birthing pen. They can now stretch out and jump up enough to clear the walls and get to the other side. Watch your step. They flatten easily underfoot! "Tear down this wall" (the birthing pen door). OK.
This is the week where the kittens are too much for Mom to clean their butts all the time, *and* they're eating a lot of gruel and Mother's Milk. So there's lots of floor issues to deal with. "No. That's a food dish. We don't go potty in that." You get the idea. Actually, the kittens will too, probably within the week or so. If only children were this easy...
