Graduation. It fills our hearts with mixed feelings -- fulfillment and sadness, anxiety and eagerness. Say goodbye to the comfortable and secure life within the cattery. Get ready to march to the beat present in your new adventures! And drop us a picure every now and again. So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the 'M' litter!

Merlot and Mystery wiggle their way out of Linda and Alan Scott's hands and straight into the family's hearts. We understand that to placate Linda's desire to see what the cats are up to at every moment of their lives, Alan is setting up a live feed, providing streaming video over the 4G capable network he is setting up in Orange, CT at We look forward to the content, even as we doubt that the world is ready for that much lack of latency between time of image capture and delivery to the handset. Best of luck guys, but remember that with root access and opposable thumbs, these kittens could pose a real security threat!

Zoe goes home to Richard and Doreen Plavner. Doreen is off camera. Way off. Like in another state... Our market intelligence tells us that Zoe will be joining Ben, another Maine Coon who is just slightly older than her, for the happy, carefree life so often associated with Dix Hills. Now, this is not the Ben and Zoe celebrity couple that you may have read about. By the way, did you know that Lenny Kravitz has as 19 year old daughter Zoe, anyway? And this is not the Zoe & Ben of the Zoe Foundation (Save The Tigers) fame. Nope. Just not. But we predict that Zoe, Ben, Doreen, and Richard will grow in mutual market share and appreciate in brand (not band) coherence just the same!

Bubbles heads out into the great unknown with the Torriani clan! Yes, that's three kids and two adults. Yup. They're triplets. That makes for 2 orders of magnitude more issues than for one kid. But Bubbles is up to the task. His name was Marcellus Wallace when he lived with us. Definite alpha male material. "You may feel a slight sting. That's pride." OK, so the quote is slightly out of context, but you get the idea. "Ho, Ho, Kus. We be watching your back" was the comment that the males here at HowLyn Cattery said as Marcellus left. Speak to you guys soon!
